About Darrow’s New Orleans Grill

It's down home...it's slow and easy...it's palate-pleasin'

Darrow's New Orleans Grill is truly "Love at first Bite!" First of its kind, fast casual hybrid with a full bar; considered one of the best Cajun/Creole food wests of the Mississippi River.  This is quite a compliment, from the connoisseurs of New Orleans who have a passion for great Cajun/Creole fare.  A brief back story on the Darrow's Family.  The Darrow's Family once cooked for the world-renowned Commander's Palace in the fame garden district of New Orleans for over 27 years.  They help trained renowned Chefs, Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse. Featured nine years running in the Los Angeles Times Magazine, four years in the Los Angeles Magazine, featured as the new best restaurant in the south bay and 4.5 rating on Yelp.

The Darrow's Family decided to put a healthier spin on Cajun/Creole food without compromising the old traditional flavor.  At Darrow's, Food is LOVE, you will not find pork or lard on the menu.  Plant base Impossible Po’boys and bowls.  All the seafood is farm raised and grain fed except for the Blue Crab in our award-winning File' Gumbo along with Gulf Shrimp, chicken sausage and chicken Andouille’.

The chicken and turkey sausages are hand-crafted with no fillers or cereal. The Angus beef brisket Po’boy is marinated for over 24 hours and cooked at a very low temperature for 8 to 9 hours depending on the weight.  The French bread and cornbread baked daily, melts in your mouth.  The delicious vegetarian red beans take a full 24 hours to prepare.  The Jumbalaya, made with fresh vegetable along with chicken and turkey, is hearty and flavorful.

Hail the "Zeek" Po’boy - fresh farm raised catfish, 16/20 shrimp served on a bed of down-home spicy Tater' salad on French bread, now that's good eatin'.  For the insatiable appetite, the Darrow’s Family combines the best of all possibilities to create the "Big Easy Supper".  This dish consists of catfish, shrimp, oysters, and two sides.  Don't forget to wash it all down with all-natural Hurricane or a swig of Sweet T with no sugar...yes you read correctly no sugar!  The Darrow's Family flavor symbolizes what the South is all about!
